Support Heart Health by Joining SRMC and Ann Nesby
Wear Red to Church on Sunday, February 26
Southern Regional Medical Center along with Grammy Award-Winning Singer/Actress and Heart Patient
Ann Nesby (former lead singer of the Sounds of Blackness and of The Fighting Temptations movie fame) promote heart health awareness. February is Heart Month and SRMC will conduct free blood pressure and lipid panel screenings for local churches.
Heart Disease is the number one cause death for women of all colors and cultures. What's even more troubling is how preventable heart disease is. Ann knows because it almost took her life.
Celebrate Heart Month along with Ann by making a commitment to take care of yourself and the women you love. See a doctor, have your cholesterol tested and start exercising.
Don't forget to wear red on Sunday, February 26 to remind everyone around you how important this fight is.
